The team behind Inspire MediLaw recently approached us to help create a brand for this new business as well as design a website to showcase their event and conference information.  The website enables people to book direct and the booking function will evolve to include online payments in the second phase of the website.

We know you are super busy running a successful business, and that there are never enough hours in the day to get everything done. You may not have the time, inclination or confidence to post regularly onto your business social media platforms, and therefore have employed someone to ensure that your business accounts are always active. Whether this be a young, techy nephew or an experienced agency, it is not a bad idea to enlist somebody's help in sharing interesting and relevant content onto your business pages. 

Although you have shifted the time and responsibility onto a third party, there are still a lot of quick activities you can personally do online to support your company's social media presence. You will be surprised at how huge a difference it can make to your following and potential customer base if you spend just a couple of minutes completing these simple actions on social media. Get your team of employees on board as well to see an even bigger improvement.

Create Your Page

Have you got Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn? Now is the time to make an account! It is very intuitive, but if you are really struggling, there are lots of step-by-step guides online to help (see below). If you would rather just make one account for now, we recommend creating a Facebook account as priority. Once you have made your account (and got your bearings!), be sure to like and follow your company page.

I often get asked about LinkedIn and I'm amazed at how many business owners still aren't using it actively.  In terms of my own use, I go in a couple of times a day via the mobile app and a few times a week via my laptop - and even then I feel I should do a lot more!  So with this in mind, here's my summary to help you get more out of it and once you're doing this well, you'll definitely feel a remarkable difference.

This month's edition of Berkshire & Buckinghamshire Life  Magazine has a new feature focused on Men in Business.  It's a title we are often placing ads for clients within rather than featuring in ourselves but it looks like a great addition to the publication.  They contacted Chris as a result of our six year association with them and wanted to run a Q&A covering a lighter mix of topics for business owners to give their readers some more insights and background.
