Chris is Running the Binfield 10k for Parkinson's

A man is standing in front of a sign that says this road will be closed on the 19th may

On Sunday 19th May, Chris will once again drag himself round a 6 mile route through his home town of Binfield to raise valuable funds for charity, and this year he has chosen to support Parkinson's. If you know Chris you probably realise that this is a pretty big challenge - even if you ignore his constant moans and groans about his knees, ankles, back and anything else he can think of at the time. So far his training has been 'decent', and when we asked about his expectations, assuming he'd be happy just to get round before the moon comes out, we were impressed with the response "yeap, I'm still aiming to win it". Whether there's a raffle happening the same day that we don't know about and he mis-understood the question, we're not sure - but either way, we're all wishing him well and look forward to hearing all about it on Monday, if he finishes by then.

If you'd like to show your support for this magnificent charity (don't let this being about Chris put you off) then please follow this link. Thanks very much for the support if you do!

We'll add an update next week with how he got on, and if you're friends with him on Facebook, you can track his progress via his mini video diary series.
