On the 25th June I will be participating in the 35 mile Wokingham Bikethon in support of local mental health charity Sport in Mind. It will be a huge personal challenge to complete the route, and I am excited to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Sport in Mind uses exercise and physical activity to help aid the recovery of people experiencing mental health problems across Berkshire. Through activities such as football, yoga, and running, the charity encourages individuals to move their lives forward in a positive direction and boosts self-esteem.

The 35 mile route starts in Wokingham, passing through Waltham St Lawrence and Hurst before looping back to the town centre and heading out towards Arborfield, Swallowfield and Eversley. Finishing on an almighty climb through Gardeners Green, it's certainly a tough route, but it's a challenge I am determined to tackle.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and will be passed directly to the charity through Virgin Money Giving. £5 can provide one person with a month of support and physical activity, and every penny will really make a difference to the charity and people living with mental illness through out Berkshire.
